Meet Mike
Hi there, my name’s Mike (He/Him), and I want to help you play and understand the music you enjoy most! I have a Bachelors of Music Degree from the University of Manitoba and have been teaching professionally for over 18 years! Everyone is unique, so I offer customized lessons based on each students’ unique goals. I specialize in the guitar (all styles) and music theory (RCM/Classical & Jazz/Popular), and love learning new instruments!
I have published a few free guitar lessons and tutorials on YouTube that are designed for beginner guitarists. You can check them out at the bottom of the page or see more here.
I am currently accepting students at Technics Music Place for the following days:
Monday: 3PM-8:30PM (Currently has students from 5:30PM – 6:30PM)
Tuesday: 3PM-7PM
Thursday: 3PM-8PM (Currently has students from 6:30-7)
Saturday: 10AM-1PM

Musical Elements: Rhythm & Pitch
